New listings had a strong January in Southwest Washington. At 757, new listings fared 20.5% stronger than in January 2017 and 83.7% stronger than last month in December 2017.
Pending sales fared similarly — at 661, accepted offers outpaced January 2017 by 12.8% and December 2017 by 33.5%.
Comparing the average price of homes sold in the twelve months ending January 31st of this year ($365,000) with the average price of homes in the twelve months ending January 2017 ($330,400) shows an increase of 10.5%.
